HMAS was founded in 2010 as an event medical provider and has since grown into an established Private Ambulance Company. However, festivals remain a big part of what we do. We have worked with many of our clients for a number of years and have a very good reputation in the events sector.
We have worked with festivals of all sizes with our largest being 32,000 attendees, where we provided eight ambulances/response vehicles, 100 staff, a field hospital and a medical centre.
When booking HMAS for your festival, we provide risk assessments, medical operations plans and a post event review as minimum. Our event management team are on hand to answer any queries or questions at all stages of event planning. Event organisers will receive a comprehensive service throughout. We are available to attend SAG meetings and planning meetings beforehand, we also take part in debriefs after events.
HMAS can provide build and break medics to ensure the safety of the event crew whilst setting up and taking down the festival structures.
We can provide all levels of staffing from First Responders to Doctors/Prescribing Advanced Clinical Practitioners. All staff come with all the relevant equipment for their skill set including private prescription processes for suitably qualified staff. We pride ourselves on providing a non-judgemental service and treat all casualties with respect and dignity.
As a CQC registered provider you can rest assured that we are meeting the standards of quality laid out by the government under the Health and Social Care Act. We are registered for “Transport services, triage and medical advice provided remotely” and “Treatment of disease, disorder or injury”. Under the CQC inspection process we’re rated as ‘Good’ which means we offer a Safe, Caring, Effective, Responsive and Well led service.
